This refreshing smoothie combines kiwi with zingy ginger.
We’re cuckoo for health giving kiwis!
The small, fuzzy fruits are jam packed full of fibre, vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids.
They help to protect us against disease, keep our immune and digestive systems healthy, and promote good brain function and sleep.
It’s our new favourite way to start the day!
1. Peel the kiwi, banana and ginger and add to a high speed blender along with the flaxseed and milk.
2. Blitz until smooth.
3. Taste and add sweeteners or more ginger for extra zing.
4. Serve over ice and enjoy!
Try topping with goji berries and coconut flakes for an added boost of vitamin C and a splash of colour.
Freeze very ripe bananas in individual portions to use in your smoothies.
The cool temperature is refreshing and the bananas take on a creamier texture when blended… almost like ice cream!
Vegans… we suggest unroasted almond milk or rice milk for this smoothie.
Rice milk can be quite sweet so taste before adding your dates or sweetener of choice.

1 cm piece of fresh ginger
400 ml milk of your choice
1 tbsp milled flaxseed
1 tsp of honey or 2 pitted medjool dates for added sweetness.
A handful of spinach to boost your greens intake.
