Creating An Account and Placing Your First Order
Q: Can I choose what day and time I can receive delivery?
A: We deliver to certain postcodes on certain days. This keeps our carbon footprint as small as possible and helps keep our delivery charge at only £1.00.
Visit our Delivery Info page. This page will tell you where we deliver and on what day.
If we do not currently deliver to your postcode, register your details HERE and we will notify you when we have extended to your area!
Q: What time will I get my delivery and will it be the same time every week?
A: We tend to deliver between 5 and 8pm, although sometimes this may vary. (Outskirts of Newquay is mid-morning / early afternoon on a Thursday). But don't worry, if you are out we will leave your order in your safe place.
Q: Do I need to be in to receive delivery?
A: No. When you register an account we ask you to nominate a place where your order can be left if you are out. If your safe place is uncovered, we will put your box in a bag. If you have ordered meat, we will leave it in a cool box. Please return the cool box the following week!
If you would like us to have a key or a code so that we can put your order in a garage or shed etc, that is no problem at all.
If you need to change your safe place, please contact us.
Q: What is the deadline for getting my new order in or amending my existing order?
A: 9am two days prior to delivery. Eg. If your delivery day is on Wednesday, your deadline is 9am Monday.
Q: What is the minimum order value?
A: The minimum order is £10.
Q: When will I be charged for my order?
A: You will generally be charged the day prior to your delivery, but we do reserve the right to charge your order at any point once you have submitted it (or it has been generated if it is a repeat order).
Q: I want to place an order for delivery more than a week in advance. What do I do?
A: The checkout will only offer you delivery for the next available delivery day. If you wish to order more than 1 week in advance, go ahead and place your order selecting the date on offer in the checkout. Ignore the date in your email confirmation. Call us on 01637 873 756 or email us firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and preferred date of delivery and we will change it for you.
Q: Can I send a Real Food Box order as a gift?
A: Yes, as long as they live within our delivery zone. Create an account for the receipient. Remember that we will still need a safe place to leave their order in case they are out.
Getting The Best From Your Seasonal Fruit and Veg Box
Q: Can I choose what comes in my Real Food Box?
A. Of course! We have set boxes and over 1000 products to choose from. You can order just a set box, a set box and individual items or just individual items - whatever suits you best!
Q: If I have a set box can I substitute out items I don't like?
A. You can easily substitute items out of your Seasonal Fruit & Veg Box, Real Meat Box or Real Salad Box.
Log in and go to Veg and Meat Box Preferences. Here you can specify items you don't want ever or just for the next order. They will be replaced by other suitable items based on your preferences. Remeber to do this before your order deadline.
Q: What do I do if I have too much of anything, but it is scheduled to be in my box this week?
A: If you have a Seasonal Fruit & Veg Box, Real Meat Box or Real Salad Box, Log In and go to Veg and Meat Box Preferences. Here you can select items you don't want for 1 week only by selecting 'Not This Week'. This will re-set after your next delivery.
Managing Your Account
Q: Am I tied in to a contract? What if I am going away?
A: No, you can stop your Real Food Box order at any time.
Anything can be ordered as repeat order or as one-off order. If you have a repeat order and wish to amend your order at any time, Log In and go to Future & Repeat Orders. Click on Amend on the desired product and here you can cancel any weeks that you don't want that item.
Adding To An Existing Real Food Box Order
Q. If I have a repeat order, can I add to my existing order?
A. Yes. Log in. Add the desired products to the basket in the usual way. In the checkout, select Add To Existing Order from the delivery options (below Delivery and Collection). You can then choose which order you would like to add it to.
Q: Do you take back boxes and packaging?
A: Absolutely! If you are going to be out, please leave it out for us to collect when we next deliver to you.
Q: Is there anywhere I can collect my order from?
A: Yes. You can collect your order from Trevilley Farm Shop, Newquay, TR8 4PX, Tuesday - Saturday, Midday until 5.30pm.
