Shallots

A relative of the onion, the shallot is a sweeter and milder version of it's cousin.

Roast it or fry it and use it as you would an onion. It's also a great addition to a tray of roasted veg.

(Variety might vary between banana shallots (pictured) and round shallots).

David grows alot of veg for us including carrots, beetroot, savoy, onion and leek. He grows veg how we like it - the old fashioned way - for taste!
